Muse and multidisciplinary artist. I found a way to unapologetically inhabit my body and express myself. Modeling answered to a visceral need to meet and embrace my whole being. Infront of a camera, I realized how incredible it was to dive into my inner self for a meditative and intimate moment, an instinctive and harmonious dance. It gave me a place to be free, to feel comfortable in my most natural form, vulnerable but powerful and to share my voice in a corporal way. I desire to leave people moved, questioning the relationship that they’ve built with their bodies, their vision of nudity as well as society’s expectation. Vulnerability flows in many ways; it might come vocally for certain individuals and for others it is corporal. There is a sense of artistry in being vulnerable. Embracing it means new experiences; new feelings and new heights. It's all in our perspective and Noemie Doragon's story inspired that in me. After seeing a photograph of her in such a vulnerable portrayal; I felt the need to let go and flow with color and because of the amount of vulnerability I saw in the picture; I spelt the color palette on the piece and created the Painted Lady This world tends to be hurtful and disconnected from what seems fundamental to me. What would life be without space for emotions, creativity, freedom, nature? I aim to share them through my pictures and creations. With love. - Noemie Doragon

This piece of art of American artist, poet and creative; Kendrick Lamar, is referenced from his song, I which is part of his album; To Pimp A Butterfly. The art piece like the song symbolizes the beauty of self-love and serves as a reminder to us that we should embrace the being we see when we look into a mirror. Our stories and also our persona or whatsoever else makes up who we are. The foundation of growth or anything else in life starts with oneself and then it rubs off on the rest of the world. In a nutshell I would say, “I cannot help the world until I help myself.” In order to give love I gotta have love for myself first. This artpiece was a collaboration of Saviours creative coloring and story telling for the finishing and on the other hand the first part of it was done by @luggyhangsmusic whose artistry focuses more on a monochromatic view of the artpiece using only a black and white shade. Creating this collaborative piece was amazing because each one of us had an opportunity to creatively do whatever we wanted with it and the result was beautiful. Lift up your head and keep moving; turn the mic up. Peace to fashion police; I wear my heart on my sleeve; let the runaway start; you know the miserable do love company; what do you want from me and my scars? Everybody lack confidence; everybody lack confidence. How many times my potential was anonymous; how many times the city making me promises. So I promise this; I Love Myself. - Kendrick Lamar

Sade describes the life of a woman in Somalia who lives a life that is far different from the one most of us are living. The woman in description is the pearl because she is out all day toiling under the scotching sun; struggling and enduring all the hurt just to feed her little girl. This also reminds us that there is beauty in the struggle and that embracing it makes us precious or in this case it makes us pearls. Embracing pain and struggle for a greater good or intention; a sympathetic or sonder feeling of purpose. We continue to strive even when it hurts. We are willing to endure what may come for pearls. We look to the heavens above and realize the limit. We want it even though we don't have it. We love it. We love it. We love it The creation of this art piece was inspired by Sade’s Love album art cover. The entire album is a tale of love from pain to joy and vice versa. The art piece portrays a picture of Sade that gives a sense of vulnerability and rawness to let go. Green on her body symbolizes how rooted she is to her morals; it is in her nature to be that way. Yellow describes her shinning beauty and her ability to overcome all the pain she feels through her will to give and show love. Orange symbolizes all the benefits and wealth that breeds out of giving and showing love and black shows her boldness and pride to stand firm through it all. There is a woman in Somalia; the sun gives her no mercy; the same sky we lay under burns her to the bone. Long as afternoon shadows; it is going to take her to get home. Each grain carefully wrapped up pearls for her little girl. - Sade Adu
